So in the spirit of the world’s finest marketplaces Ms. Johnson developed the concept for Market Salamander, a fine foods and wine marketplace. Each marketplace presents a variety of specialty foods and an impressive selection of wines. Ms. Johnson's vision also includes a goal to become a food industry leader in educating consumers about environmentally and socially responsible food choices. There are currently two Market Salamander retail locations, each offering cooking classes that promote the use of locally grown foods, just one of the efficient alternatives to destructive modern food production practices.
